Stacey Diack

Stacey is a Resident in Counseling, approved by the Virginia Board of Counseling to work towards licensure under the supervision of Brandi Laperriere, LPC.

Stacey wholeheartedly believes the counseling process can foster deep healing, freedom, and transformation. She considers it a great honor to come alongside her clients, and seeks to create a trusted and compassionate space to explore their life stories and challenges.

Using an integrative and relational approach, she has experience working with adults and adolescents. Her areas of clinical interest include anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, and self-image. She draws from therapies such as psychodynamic, family systems, and narrative, and is certified in the pre-marital assessment PREPARE/ ENRICH.

Prior to her work as a counselor, Stacey served in church and non-profit contexts for fifteen years. She lives in her hometown of Alexandria along with her husband and their 4 children. Some of her greatest joys include unhurried time with family and friends, taking runs with a good podcast, and finding refreshment at her favorite lake.
