Hunter Gossett
Hunter is a licensed professional counselor. He began clinical work in psychiatric hospitalization (PHP) in Massachusetts where he gained experience in helping adults from all walks of life facing crisis and acute mental distress. In addition to his time working in PHP, Hunter has over a decade of experience working with adolescents and young adults in a variety of settings.
Using an integrative approach curated to each individual, Hunter employs a variety of treatment modalities including elements of CBT and DBT as well as exploring how faith and experience inform what one desires and expects from life. Hunter is passionate about helping people better understand themselves and others, enabling them to grow in their ability to face the difficulties of life with greater courage and resilience. His areas of clinical interest include depression, anxiety, ADHD, addictions, transitional life stages, image/identity, spiritual formation, and building healthy relationships.
Hunter and his wife, Grace live in the area with their two young children. He enjoys quality time with family & friends, as well as reading, learning, fitness, playing basketball, and being a Texan.
