Christina Rawls


Christina is a licensed professional counselor. Before becoming a therapist, she worked in the arts as a performer, educator, and consultant for several arts and international aid organizations. She specializes in working with children and adults who have experienced trauma, grief, and loss.

As a therapist, Christina believes in a collaborative and creative therapeutic process. Her client centered and trauma informed approach to counseling utilizes a variety of modalities to suit the needs of her clients. Her areas of clinical interest include: trauma; domestic and sexual violence; grief and loss; reverse culture shock; anxiety; and depression. She has additional training in Psychological First Aid and the SERVE model for treating complex trauma.  

Christina lives in Arlington, VA with her husband, two daughters, and Shih Tzu. She enjoys singing with her church’s worship team, teaching her children to swim, and CrossFit.
